We have missed you and want you to know that the safety of both our members and staff is priority here at Straits Area Federal CU.

We are taking several precautionary measures to help everyone feel comfortable which are listed below. While we are excited to see all of you, if you are feeling ill, have a fever, cough or any of the COVID-19 symptoms or have come into contact with anyone who has COVID-19 please do not visit the branches.

The lobbies of Cheboygan and Indian River will be open Monday-Friday starting Monday, July 6. Mackinaw City lobby will remain closed, you may however call 231-436-4037 to set up an appointment to open an account or apply for a loan/mortgage.

Limited Occupancy

• We are utilizing social distancing, with a maximum lobby occupancy of 10 members Cheboygan and 4 members for Indian River. Please look down to follow and stand on the signs on the lobby floor.
• Members will be greeted at the front door to ensure we adhere to branch capacity limits.
• We ask that you avoid bringing family members not required for the transaction into the branch. 
• When you arrive, if there is no marked spot to stand on, please wait outside until another member exits as we can not have members standing in the vestibule.
• We encourage you to continue to use any of our drive-thru’s. 

Face Mask

• All members entering the building are REQUIRED to have facial coverings, homemade or otherwise while inside the Credit Union. Staff will also be wearing a mask. If you do not wish to wear facial covering, our drive-thru’s are available.
• You will be asked to quickly remove your mask for identification purposes.

Sanitation

• We have increased sanitizing of the countertops, desk, signature pads, and common surfaces (door handles, atm buttons, drive thru buttons, etc.)
• We have installed plexi-glass barriers to all member service stations and offices. 
• Hand sanitizer will be available in the offices and well as member service stations. 
• Furniture has been removed from all lobbies.
