Target has released a statement about the Card Breach.  Click Here for more information.

If you made a purchase at a Target store between November 27th and December 15th with one of your Straits Area Federal Credit Union cards, someone from the Credit Union will be contacting you within the next couple of days with information.

If you made any purchases using your Target Red-Card please monitor your account for any fraudulent activity.   If you notice any fraudulent activity please contact the Credit Union and Target right away.

Please be aware that scammers are already trying to take advantage of the situation.  Fraudulent emails have been sent claiming to be from Target.  These emails play on the fears of the public that they may have had their card compromised.  If you receive an email claiming to be from Target do not click on any of the links in the email.  Instead go directly to Target.com and log in to your account.
