Straits Area Federal Credit Union is a community based, member owned nonprofit financial cooperative founded in 1950. We serve members throughout the Cheboygan, Michigan area. At Straits Area Federal Credit Union, we are dedicated to improving our members financial lives. We do this through providing our members with value-added products and services. We have our roots deep in the communities we serve. Our commitment, to our members and prospective members, is to provide friendly, convenient service and competitive rates for savings, investing and borrowing. We currently serve over 10,700 members and our assets as of April 30, 2010 totaled more than $50,000,000.00.
